Solomon Patton

Wide Receiver, Kick Returner, Denver Broncos

Solomon Patton (born October 17, 1990) is an American football wide receiver and kick returner for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to Denver, Patton played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2014, as a returner, Patton held one of the highest averages for yards per return. He was signed by the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played college football at Florida.

Patton played college football at the University of Florida from 2010 to 2013. During his career he started 8 of 43 games, recording 52 receptions for 635 yards and six touchdowns. He also was a return specialist and set the school record for highest kick-return average in a season with 29.2.

He grew up in Mobile, Alabama, where he attended Murphy High School. Coming out of high school, Patton was recruited by every top division 1 university.
