Robert Shahady is a practicing attorney certified by the National Football League Players Association as a contract advisor authorized to negotiate player contracts with NFL teams. As an attorney and advisor, Mr. Shahady has prepared and negotiated hundreds of contracts and other legal documents for his clients. At ProPlayer Sports, Mr. Shahady negotiates professional contracts and endorsements for his clients in addition to supervising the implementation of the contracts to achieve his client’s goals.
In addition to his role at ProPlayer Sports, Mr. Shahady is also a partner with Kopelowitz Ostrow, P.A., a full service law firm with resources available to the agency. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Florida, and all State Courts of Florida. Mr. Shahady has tried jury and non-jury matters in State and Federal Courts.
Mr. Shahady received his B.S. from Florida State University in 2002 and his J.D. from the Barry University School of Law in 2006. Prior to attending Florida State, he attended the University of Alabama where he played on the golf team. In 2005, he participated in a summer abroad program on global affairs at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Prior to attending college and law school.
