Mr. Ostrow is the Founder and President of ProPlayer Sports LLC.  He established the agency after many years of representing high profile athletes and celebrities at his Fort Lauderdale based law firm, Kopelowitz Ostrow P.A.  He is fully certified by the NFL Players Association as a contract advisor and by the NBA Players Association in the same capacity.  He has represented professional athletes in almost every sport, including Olympic Swimming the NFL, NBA and MLB.  He has over 20 years of experience counseling clients, drafting and negotiating their contracts, and litigating cases on their behalf.  At ProPlayer Sports, he oversees all operations, and is the lead attorney, business advisor, contract advisor, and marketing representative for his agency clients, depending upon the engagement. He has extensive experience in negotiating, mediating and arbitrating a wide-range of issues on behalf of clients with the NFL Players Association, the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, USA Swimming, and the United States Anti-Doping Agency.  He has been an invited sports law guest speaker at New York University and Nova Southeastern University and has also served as a panelist at industry conferences.

In addition to being President of the company, Mr. Ostrow is also the Managing Partner of Kopelowitz Ostrow P.A, a full-service law firm with resources available to his agency clients.  As a full-time practicing attorney, he regularly represents his athlete-clients in proceedings involving the various leagues, as well as for their personal or non-athlete related professional needs, whether they involve business or real estate transactions, or disputes involving litigation or arbitration.

Mr. Ostrow established his own law practice immediately upon graduation from law school in 1997, and has since grown the firm to nearly 50 attorneys in 3 offices throughout South Florida.  In addition to overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations and strategic direction, he practices in the areas of consumer class actions, commercial litigation, business counseling, and sports agency law.  He is a Martindale-Hubbell AV® PreeminentTM rated attorney in both legal ability and ethics, which is the highest possible rating by the most widely recognized attorney rating organization in the world.

Mr. Ostrow often serves as outside General Counsel to companies, advising them in connection with their legal and regulatory needs. He currently represents multiple Fortune 500® Companies in connection with their Florida litigation. He has handled cases covered by media outlets throughout the country and has been quoted many times on various legal topics in almost every major news publication, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel. He has also appeared on ESPN, CNN, ABC, CBS, FoxNews, and other major national television networks in connection with his client, which often involve his athletes.

Mr. Ostrow is an accomplished trial attorney who represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants, successfully trying cases to verdict in numerous cases involving multi-million dollar damage claims in state and federal courts. Currently, he serves as lead counsel in nationwide and statewide class action lawsuits against many of the world’s largest financial institutions in connection with the unlawful assessment of fees. To date, his efforts have successfully resulted in the recovery of over $400,000,000 for millions of bank customers, as well as monumental changes in the way banks assess fees. In addition, Mr. Ostrow has litigated consumer class actions against some of the world’s largest clothing retailers, health insurance carriers, technology companies, and oil conglomerates, along with serving as class action defense counsel for some of the largest advertising and marketing agencies in the world, banking institutions, real estate developers, and mortgage companies.
