Tony “T-Rich” Richardson joined Pro Player Sports after spending his initial five years at Impact Sports Management, where he served as an NFLPA Certified Agent. Tony has incredible knowledge and passion for the game, coupled with his infinite experience in the world of athlete management.
An athlete since the tender age of six, Tony quickly learned the values of hard work, preparation & that paying attention to the details will always lead to success. These values that Tony learned through sports have helped mold and shape him into the successful agent he is today. After receiving his Masters Degree in Sports Management from Florida International University, Tony immediately made his mark within the sports representation world. As a licensed NFLPA contract advisor, he attracted many of the league’s top young players to the company and even assisted and negotiated some record-breaking contracts. Tony’s background and experience, in both client management and business affairs, make him an asset in the development of clients’ on-and-off field careers.
Tony also strongly believes that the role as an agent does not end with just contract negotiations; instead the agent should be there for the athlete to protect and advise in all aspects of business and personal life. Tony’s strong commitment to maintaining close relationships with his clients and their families has led to his success as a trusted advisor and a valuable asset to the Pro Player family. His personal relationships with National Football League (NFL) personnel are invaluable in providing our clients the best opportunities to be successful on and off the field. As a certified contract advisor, he also plays a fundamental role in researching and negotiating contracts for clients. His contract expertise allows our veterans and rookies to maximize their potential earnings.
Tony is originally from Miami, Florida. He lettered in both Football and Track & Field at his high school, Miami Southridge. Immediately following, Tony attended Carson Newman University where he obtained his B.S. in Business Management and was football team captain. He currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale with his wife, Raquel.
